I think they need to bring history back and teach it well..
If you don’t know history, how will you know how you arrived at the present and what the future may probably hold.

Jews teach history of the holocaust and make it compulsory for their kids…
Israelites don’t even know bible stories.. I have an Israeli friend and he doesn’t even know those bible stories but knows so much about their true history of Second World War and holocaust

An average so called educated African man doesn’t even know of ordinary Berlin conference but will recite Koran and Bible verses and knows history of Bible Israelites more than his own ancestry..

I was never thought history in my secondary school. The first time I came in contact with history books in our school library, it was old books about the history of the western world. I had no choice but to read those.

Now that the internet has made it easy to get books, I'm gradually learning the history of 9ja, Afrịka and other countries of interest.

The current system of education we have here is totally fụcked up. Complete rubbish!

I'll never leave my kids at the sole care of the illiterate teachers we have in schools these days. They're mostly interested in teaching kids how to speak English. No true pedagogy.

We need an educational revolution in Africa.
