As a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel remains in place, Palestinian political leaders have expressed cautious optimism about the role of the United States in pushing for further negotiations. However, concerns persist over recent statements from U.S. officials regarding Israel’s territorial claims.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Basem Naim, a Hamas leader based in Doha, emphasized the group's willingness to engage with any party that could help achieve their goals, including statehood, self-determination, and the right of return for displaced Palestinians. "We are open to discussions with any entity, including the U.S. administration, if it can contribute to achieving these objectives," Naim stated.

His remarks followed similar comments by Hamas senior official Mousa Abu Marzouk, who previously indicated openness to dialogue with the U.S., noting a desire for a more active American role in addressing the conflict.

Israel was looking for a reason to teach these terrorists a bitter lesson, Hamas gave them a very good one to do just that by their October 7th action😁

Most Arab countries do not trust Palestinians. Those people worst pass pigs. The Arab nations do not trust them that's the reason you can't see Iran offering them sanctuary and also Yemen. The show of support from Iran and Yemen is simply an eye service. The protest in high institutions within USA in show of support to hamas was orchestrated by a Chinese national in USA.
