We need to beat the drum continuously so that you and those believing in Jackson at Stamford bridge, could hear it, stop dreaming and get a better striker.

Quiet! Our point was, and still is, that, if we had 10/15-goals-a-season wingers and midfielders, then having a Jackson would not be consequential. And we backed it up regularly with empirical evidence. Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal... even City pre-Haaland.

This argument is an undeniable fact.

The other side of the debate was that, no, we need an upgrade on Jackson. This is a fair argument by itself. But like I said in the past, without a solid support cast, it just makes you a Tottenham with Harry Kane.

As a matter of fact, I have this season expanded the support cast to include defenders and goalkeepers. If we had a decent player in every single position, including GK, and we had Jackson, we would be second on the table at this moment, 3 point behind Liverpool. FACTS!

It's not and was never because we considered Jackson the best striker in the world. It's because we don't just want a shiny 100M striker for the sake of it, but we still intent on conceding 2 goals or more per game, and our GK still can't tell the difference between his own players and the oppo.
