People think we forget things very quickly, but our scroll of remembrance is firmly by our side.

Five or ten years down the line, we still remember stuff like it was yesterday.

The president isn't going to remind us or these witch-hunters of how much hate they exude, of how they tarnished his image, and of how they made him feel at that time, but we still remember these things.
