Dangote is using us to become and remain the wealthiest man in Africa, well he cannot be more than that...the wealthiest man in Africa, he can't cross Africa. That's all .. Cos how can petrol locally produced be as expensive as the one imported? He is using the latest refining equipments that reduces the cost of production in his 650mbpd refinery. How can dangote cement be more expensive in Nigeria than in other African countries, even after transportation cost to other countries.. Dangote is just a local African champion. Now to build a simple duplex will require millions of naira because of Dangot's greed. |

olatade:If you own a car please locate any MRS and buy a well deserved fuel for your car. Did a practical check of the fuel by pouring it in a transparent bottle with its color almost white and when I shook it trust me there was no expansion(Ndi chemistry tell us more about that) I bought 940 in imo state. Another thing I noticed was my cars response when I tap the accelerator(very sharp move). As a car mechanic this fuel helps your injector system and detonation takes place smartly in the cylinder. Make sure your MASS AiR Filter is clean so that the engine recieves enough air to mix with the fuel for proper and easy combustion. Happy Sunday Fam |

[quote author=givedemwotowoto post=133966345]With petrol subsidy, the average car owner in Nigeria saved about N140,000 monthly or N1.6 million annually on driving alone. Since there’s no more petrol subsidy, what equivalent value has government added to the lives of Nigerians to warrant the removal of N1.6 million from millions of households in Nigeria? [/quote Really? Who is an average Nigerian that would fill his tank twice a month in the past? |

With the deregulation, we expect prices to rise and fall, however, I think we should have a stabilization fund to keep prices stable for at least each quarter. When the price is lower than govt price, we save, when it is higher, we use it to keep the price. It will help in medium term fiscal planning |
