The issue with humans is that we aren't ready to lose everything. This is the difference between successful people and ordinary. Yes, you can be an ordinary person and be comfortable if where you live has a good structure, but you won't be the best. The best are always ready to lose it all; however, they can almost always build things back. Why? Their brains/skills are their wealth. Go and ask all billionaires, and you will get the same response...they are all ready to lose it all, and they can build back. Maybe not up to billions again, but to a comfortable level. And you wonder why Donald Trump bounced back. He was ready to lose it all. He could have entered a bargain which would keep him from returning, but he was ready to go to jail. He knew he was going to jail if he lost that election since he refused to back down.

If this guy had this attribute, he would simply bounce back to life and first relax his mind while paying the debt. As in cool off...let the debt be piling. Trump went for bankruptcy....Mike Tyson did...and many others. Who says he couldn't do that? All he needed was to switch from a divorce attorney to a tax attorney for a way out.

The problem with him was his emotion, pain, loss of self-confidence, and loss of desire to live again after losing the case. I believe that the wound he received as a result of losing the case was more serious than the monthly payment.

The Lord gives everything, and whether we lose it all due to our fault or not, we must be grateful for the time we had just enough or more. We must be able to survive on almost nothing.

Survival first is the key. We can gradually cool down before resuming normal thinking. We win again when we start thinking immediately after receiving a hard blow. However, when you stop thinking and lose the will to live, you die.

As someone who has been in the USA for over 6 years now, and know this family, the man deserves everything. I have zero empathy for me. If he were to be my brother, he still deserves it. You are just ranting. Yes there is high chances that if both spouses are totally committed to one another that their union will be good. But being a good or nice or committed partner is not a guarantee that your marriage will be good.

I thought of that too, why not relocate to naija and start a new life? Well guess he was probably born in the US and may not know the Nigerian terrain. Also the US justice system may declare him wanted since failure to pay child support is a jailable crime. The 15k will just be accumulating, waiting for him. They could even issue interpol warrant. The Dr probably has hundreds of thousands in student loan debt now joined with 15k monthly igbese, his mortgage on his house his wife will collect yet he will still be paying, the cars nko, the monthly payment, all these join with his loosing his licence to practice. Hmm, wahala..

I will return to Nigeria and damn the consequences.

I have learned an important lesson:

If a woman gives you problems in marriage and tries to use the children against you, JUST LEAVE HER WITH THE KIDS AND MOVE ON!
Go and start another family. Just use sense and run away from the country!
