Lithiumite:You've worked them out completely. Bigoted and empty supremacist who assume "it is only a matter of time before Igbos dominate all others" (Charles Onyeama) yet they become bellicosely insultive and hateful when their usual nemesis, the Yorubas, better and humiliate them to bust their ridculous supremacist delusions. This is why, of over 400 ethnic groups, the Igbos are by far the most vocally pained and vituperatively rabid about Tinubu's Presidency. The reality of them being perennial and irredeemable haters of the "Zoo" derides their deceitful 'emergency lovers of Nigeria' current claims that they only speak because they are now champions of good governance on behalf of fellow Nigerians and the "Zoo" they hate both. Garbage. |

The problem is that if the North doesn't support him rigging will lead to crisis that will end his tenure so he needs to pacify North. He is not popular in South-south and Southeast so he cannot ride on Southern unity. |

Lithiumite:What exactly is the gain for the masses including high electricity tariff? He stopped the "haemorrhaging of the economy" but his external borrowing keeps ballooning . The prices of goods and services including basic necessities like food and drugs are three-four times higher than under Buhari.Stop supporting failure unconditionally. My family and I equally voted for this disaster but never again! |
| Re: Tinubu Will Win Second Term In 2027 — Joe Igbokwe by maasoap(m): 9:09am On Feb 02, 2025 |
Abagworo:There is nothing like "support him rigging", anyone who wants to rig election doesn't need support again. You need support to win, not to rig. He won the election free and fair in 2023, thanks to the people like me who voted for him and the opposition party (PDP) that split into 4. My point is that he won the last time and he may not win the next one because of his bad economic policies. We should stop bringing in wailing of rigging to mask our own failure at the polls |

Ladiesdoctor:By far. Some, like Obi, are cowards and lightweights who won't be able to take the bravest decision that are ironically those most needed for Nigeria to become a meritocratic and developed nation. Others, like Atiku, Bala Mohammed, Kwankwaso etal, cannot ever do things best for the rapid and optimal development of Nigeria because they feel those are diametrically against the myopic, unprogressive and backwards interest of the North. Many developments under Tinubu is exposing the anti-progressive leaning of most Northern leaders. Tinubu's reforms are tough on Nigerians, no doubt, but progressive critical thinkers know why they are needed and why it would be ideal for Tinubu to get two terms to reform and develop Nigeria after which no coward, too weak to do the right things as GEJ was, or agents of regression, who want us more like Afghanistan than Germany, can reverse the gains made or take Nigerians back to Egypt per the new and progressive ways of doing thing BAT would have laid down as the marker. The two types of President that can never take Nigeria to the promise land, when we literally become like Turkey minimally and Germany optimally, are (1) cowardly Southerners with no political sagacity the Hawkish North will bully for fun and (2) unprogressive Northerners. Obi is definitely in the former category while most Northerners with eye on the Presidency are in the latter category with the exceptions of the likes of Dogara and some other Northern Progressives. Tinubu is best for now unless there is a Southerner to replace him who is as brave and as politically sagacious as BAT and possessingg his political will too. Or a progressive Northerner like Dogara so far as he will be strong enough to resist his Government being hijacked by Northern Hawks and conservatives as PMB's government was. |

It's true once the opposition are the likes of Atiku, obi, sowore, kwankwaso and other rubbish. If you want to change him, join together accross the nation, form a party and don't hand it to corrupt delegates. If not you are joking |

maasoap:Bro, what do you know about "bad economic policies"? Have you ever lived and thrived in a developed nation? I am not talking just visiting. If you have you'd know and appreciate that all we had before Tinubu, to include the much-lauded time of OBJ, are examples of "bad economic policies". Good economic policies, if Nigeria ever had it, would have delivered creative and innovative human resources that then utilises other resources to makes a nation economically great. The results would be a productive, robust and diverse economy hosting trade surplus with others, thus leading to automatically strong and highly convertible currency and a work/pay regime that automatically fosters payment of a living wage which then underpins a good credit system that will allow a considerable amount of citizens own their own homes and be able to afford things needed for life's comfort that are viewed luxury goods in Nigeria beyond the pocket of the average Nigerian.. What Nigerian leaders did before Tinubu is the real show of "bad economic policies" because they rejected creating a Nation with an independently strong economy drawing it strengths from innate economic robustness of her human resources productivity and optimal usage of material resources I.e an optimally educated and highly skilled workforce driving manufacturing, agriculture, Engineering, Science and tech and many other useful exponents of finished goods, services, skills etc we would be able to export profitably if truly others before BAT had delivered good economic policies. Instead what we have had since 1999 is glorified 419 whereby Nigerian President subsidise everything, to fool Nigerians they are socio-economically good, whereas Nigerians are actually some of the most worse-off human beings on Earth with subsidies ensuring nothing works optimally. Education, electricity, PMS etal were subsidized. Our education is so substandard to the extent we must import Arabs to build our bridges. Yet people like you think "good economic policies'" is defined by thousands of Nigerians attending Uni to graduate lacking the solutions-provisionss skills of a British or German 12 year old . Ditto for the power sector, that is now archaic, and our refined fuel supply industry etal. No great nation of the world can develop on excessive subsidy since such kills innovation and productivity, encourages indolence, enshrines mediocrity everywhere, destroys/discourages the rise meritocratic societies to give birth to proliferation of monstrousities like quota system and 'connections' nation, perpetuates generational poverty and, worst of all, creates generations after generations only capable of demanding fish rather than been able to fish for themselves. Yet Nigerians, brainwashed by leadership 'weaponised' poverty and lack of exposure, believe they were okay before Tinubu because they could afford kpomo previously , pay low price for electricity while darkness threatens to be our lot forever, enjoyed cheap subsidized fuel yet no Nigerian State can boast a transport system as good as that Egyptians, South Africans etal enjoy talk less of those in the West. Look at convertible currency below. That is one of the true proof of good economic policy and not the 419 subsidy of Naira Buhari and others before him engaged in. You see Naira below? It is Tinubu's reforms that, for example, can make Naira a truly and independently strong convertible currency and not propping up the value of the naira artificially while our economy is undiversified away from dependency on crude, manufacturing is dead and we are perpetually running trade deficit with most nations of the world I.e importing more than we export. You don't know what "bad economic policies" are bro because, sorry to say, you are not exposed.

I really don't think it will be that easy for Tinubu to come back. Just look at the last demonstration held as protest from the Northern (with sizable population) part of the country, it is a political ominous sign that the economic hardship brought about by this administration's decisions and its obvious inability to manage the fallout is a crucial and genuine reason for change in the political leadership of the country. The other parts of our country did not join the protest not because they are happy with the current administration, but because the same support was not extended during the ENDSARs protest. So anyone including Joe Igbokwe can make their opinions due to freedom of expression or maybe to test the political spectrum but for me I know for sure it will be very difficult to use whatever means whether money or godfatherism to make this administration sail through the next elections. In fact some people are even waiting for the election to come, even if it's to vent out their frustrations with the mismanagement of the economy, but my main concern is the opposition. Do we have a well coordinated opposition? Time will tell. |
| Re: Tinubu Will Win Second Term In 2027 — Joe Igbokwe by GiftofGod77(m): 9:47am On Feb 02, 2025 |
UltraSolid:Yes you are right, and this is why the current administration will bear the brunt of frustration by Nigerians over the accumulated failure of past policies that have failed to bring the much needed relief to ordinary Nigerians. True President Tinubu won the elections to me because he garnered votes delivered to him from his predecessor and party machineries or structures but the reality is that he has shown crass failure in managing the multiplier outcomes of the removal of fuel subsidies with it's attendant hardship. Nigerians will not forgive him for this trust me.... |

Odin13:Unfortunately sympathy doesn't win elections anymore but capacity to lead. Tinubu has shown that he is a leader with concrete mindset in achieving set goals. Reforms brings pains and the guy was not shining away. He took responsibility for good and all well meaning Nigerians know. For me, 2027 election result will rewrite the Nigeria elections history. Tinubu may be unopposed Las Las. Or win with too much margin noone has ever had because I see him wining more votes from the east this time. Logic: From confirmed records, Tinubu has never lost elections right from his University days till date. He was never a president before, but now he is. So, is he going to loose election now that he is the president? Tinubu is not like Jonathan in acceptability. all the opponent should know that it will be so difficult to unseat jagaban with all his bold reforms. Only LG autonomy will make him win |

| Re: Tinubu Will Win Second Term In 2027 — Joe Igbokwe by UltraSolid: 10:16am On Feb 02, 2025 |
GiftofGod77:I am cool with Tinubu not getting second term so long as he gives every region the irreversible tools they need to go and develop and secure themselves optimally beyond his stay in office. People who are exposed and progressive know what matters which is enduring and upscalable socio-economic progress, that will outlive us all to benefit our generations unborn, and not the "my Kinsman in Aso Rock" obsession most Nigerians are unproductively focused on. If Yorubas get the demand made below in 2021 and, most importantly, fully independent control over the security of the SW then most will be OK if a Yoruba is never ever President again. By the way, study the demands below. LG autonomy already secured. Some people here will now see what I meant when I said, at the time, what is shown below had Tinubu driving it in the background.
