I am too emotionaly mature to take my own life because of a divorce or alimony. I already started planning from day one of marriage. Always have your plan B, C etc.

Everyone is screaming $15k is too much. Keep in mind that the guy most likely earns more than $30k per month, because the court cannot ask you to pay more than half of your income as child support. It was his decision to take his own life rather than give half of his income to his children, but that decision was certainly not due to financial inability because he was well able to afford that.

Also it doesn't matter if you are not married. You will still pay child support.

It's the Nigerian mindset of greed and gluttony inherent in most males and females,they want it all in the shortest possible time, that is why the country and the economy is like this.

Nigerians who were born there or even relocated as little kids to the USA hardly return to Nigeria, as they hardly have any friends or social ties in Nigeria. Infact they can only be forced to come home once in a while by their parents (if they are still alive).

Only those who had college (Tertiary) education in Nigeria before relocating to the US, would likely return to Nigeria every year or at least Bi-annually.
