I remember when I was a kid and I won 25 naira from the cover bottle of 7 up.
I ran to a pastor who was drinking 7 up and told him to give me the cover bottle.
He gave me the cover bottle and luckily for me there was 25 naira win from it .
I was so happy and gave my dad the cover bottle to go to the company to claim the money.
In those days promotions like this abound as you could even win free drinks .
Promotions like this can also help in checking the excesses of fake drinks being sold nowadays which has made alot of people having health issues including kidney problems.
I don't know why these types of promotions were stopped.

On Fridays, they always go to mosque but I was trusted enough to look after the shop for them

That was when we have one 9ja. when ever nepa supplied light we all shout up nepaa or if our national football team win matches we all be celebrating together n when ever there's lost we still feel d sadness together.
Not 9ja of today that politics hv changes our mindset to fighting each others for unnecessary things that's separating us instead of we uniting ourselves.

I like it that way. And I will like any generous individual or group of individuals or cooperate bodies to stop giving out free donations to anyone, even the poorest and lowest of lows.

Despite the current situation, cheerful givers can still give, even more. But the problem here is that idiots and dickheads will start making it look as if it is their God given right. Some will even accuse the free giver of sinister motives.

And guess the useless category of unproductive miscreants characterised by this weird thinking. No other than those clowns with entitlement mentality

Mine wasn't a drink..but cowbell chocolate, I remember me and my brother will use all our food money to buy cowwbell chocolate. Just to gather the stickers for a PR that we could possibly win a car or game console then...last last we find the last sticker tire we no see 😂😂

Many people drink pure water nowadays instead of soft drinks.
&it's even healthier.

Any company doing promo are those that are not making profits, so they do promo to promote the products and make profits...

This post reminds me of 7UP DAEWOO promo in the early 90s. It was crazy back then. Everybody wanted to win Daewoo racer. Robbers were burgling shops and stores, taking away the crown caps and leaving the drinks behind.
