The problem is that he received an adulterated gospel, in which Christ was portrayed to him with much expectations beyond the reality, and perhaps without the sense of the implications of not fulfilling his part in the covenant. And now, he is disappointed because he feels that his expectations has been cut short. Aside the KJV we have other versions of the bible and the context of each verses of all of them is the same.

People studied history as a course. We read/learn history also, world history, local history, history of lineage, history of ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt, Jews and so on. We have also read other relevant stories, such as the story of Caesar in Rome, Hercules and Achilles in Greece and so on.
History have it that our Lord Jesus Christ lived and was crucified in Israel at around AD 33. The 12 apostles were eye witnesses of the things. And they handed over to their successors (the first church fathers) the undiluted message/gospel which they received from the Lord. These church fathers are Clement, Linus, Anacletus, and so on. You can find some of them in the bible. In Antioch there was St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Polycarp, the bishop of Smyrna is from Turkey, Timothy the bishop of Ephesus was also from Turkey, and so on. Some of the first bishop of Rome were Africans from Egypt and other parts of the northern Africa. How is Jesus now the white peoples' God. The church fathers have line of successors. Elohim is not a God confussion. The lineage of Jesus was traced to Adam the son of God. If I know that my direct father in the Lord who I am under, has successors' line that is linked to Jesus and he believes in him, then I must believe in him also, or else he will suspend me, re-train and re-examine me to check my faith. But now, this man's father in the Lord who gave him an adulterated gospel was not under anyone's control and himself is not under anyone's control. For now, it is only by the grace of God that he can be saved.
