Fraud Shocker! Court Sends Ex-NHIS Boss to Kuje

Former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Usman Yusuf, was remanded in the custody of the Kuje Correctional Centre by a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja on Monday.

The order was given by Justice Chinyere Nwecheonwu after Yusuf was arraigned and pleaded to the charges. Yusuf allegedly abused his office to confer undue advantages on himself in 2016-2017; he also allegedly awarded contracts without following the due procurement process.

However, he pleaded not guilty at the arraignment on all five counts read to him.

This is just assumption, you are speaking without facts. Try to go to court during his next hearing date I am sure the Prosecution will start calling witnesses that is if his counsel Don't ambush the court with bail application.


The thing with EFCC cases is that Government often only use them to silence critics who in most cases have actually committed the offence been alleged

I was following this case several years ago.You don't know the meaning of when they say corruption is fighting back.Just pray you are not honest in Nigeria

We are still waiting for Sadiya the former Minister of humanitarian affairs to identify the families she gave over 700 billion naira during the COVID.
