🍁 Canadian Premier, Doug Ford posted:

Starting today and until U.S. tariffs are removed, Ontario is banning 🇺🇸 American companies from provincial contracts.

Every year, the Ontario government and its agencies spend $30 billion on procurement, alongside our $200 billion plan to build Ontario.

U.S based businesses will now lose out on tens of billions of dollars in new revenues. They only have President Trump to blame.

We’re going one step further. We’ll be ripping up the province’s contract with Starlink. Ontario won’t do business with people hellbent on destroying our economy.

Canada didn't start this fight with the U.S, but you better believe we're ready to win it.

However, I wonder what's Trump's end game in sowing seeds of discord in the North Atlantic Military & Economic Alliance.

Canada has always been there fighting and defending US national interest in far away Middle East, Africa etc

Trump is an illiterate.

Canada may be small to USA economically, but she's currently the leader of G-7 countries. Many USA states are practically enveloped by Canada provinces, if Canada decided to fvck USA up by teaming up with Russia, China and other world powers to bring US down militarily or economically, they will most likely succeed.

There is no sense picking up unnecessary fight with good neighbour.
