The east aligned with the West in 1999 because they knew OBJ was competent.
The east aligned with the North in 2007 because because they knew Yaradua was the right man. The East also aligned with South South in 2011 because they believed in Jonathan. Igbos aligned with South South again in 2015 because of Jonathan even though they rigged him out at that time. In 2019 Igbos aligned with the North because they believed Atiku was the best out of the available candidates at that time, though he lost. In 2023, Igbos believe that the best candidate is PO and they rallied around him even though INEC chaired by a northerner and the judiciary denied him of his obvious victory. In 2027, the North should align with the East. PO is still the candidate. It is not just about political ties, it is about good governance.
