With all due respect am not lying. Enshrined in the Scriptures is the fact that we are both co or joint heirs to the salvation that was got for us at such a priceless cost. However, what you might miss interpret with Christianity with respect to womanhood is pertaining to roles. And even at that many women became leaders and even attained the nadir or zenith of their professions. It is just a misinterpretation and not a plot to subjugate the woman. I am sorry if I seem to annoy you with the "gobbledegook" thing you keep making reference to. But I can use myself as an example for what this Grace has done for me. I use to be a fool thinking that all the activities and works of faith were just vanity and a waste of time. To make matters worst I became friends with people who never took the Word of God seriously so I drifted into the world of people who think and reason using the logic of men. I mocked and made jest of Christians who came to even preach the good news to me. I thought I was enjoying myself until something happened to me that I will never forget in my life. It was a strange encounter that proved to me that not only is God alive but I was indeed a fool and it was time I gave my life to Christ Jesus. Since that time I tearfully went to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior and after that I enrolled for Discipleship. I drew closer and got to understand how God thinks and His principles to everything. I stopped doing the foolish things I use to do thinking I was wise and was enjoying myself including mocking God. I am now a living witness and true example of this grace. I am no longer arrogant, boastful or callous but now a different far more gentle and responsible person with many responsibilities that will never be given to anyone who does not have the qualities Jesus Christ showed. I have never come across this wrong notion that a woman is not my equal no. Instead what I was taught and still believe is that we are joint heirs to the Salvation we have been born afresh in Christ Jesus. I respect my wife of 22 years as well as she respects me. I have and will never underestimate or disrespect her no matter what because I know we were both made by God and the same Salvation, life and eternity is for both of us. At the same time we are both well versed in the ways of the Lord as to our roles so that the family unit that was made by God can is standing firm against the test of time and bringing about God's will on the earth one of which is to bring up Godly children in the society. Hmnn this is why I like Scriptures. Proven false by human reckoning or theological reasoning? Even the Church Fathers acknowledged this work of Salvation before Martin Luther also made this discovery as to the liberty God gave us. We need not go far. Just like I said that proviso "whoever" qualifies the sinner who was not originally from Israel. The prostitute, the robber, the murderer, the worst of sinners like me can now come boldly to the Throne of Mercy and confess and believe in Christ for their Salvation and in that instant they get saved and their lives never remains the same. A physical change occurs. They get Grace to stop habits, attitudes and characters they once could not control or stop. They become humble and teachable and not arrogant like before. Yes it is possible to change and self develop and become better. But I have a deep spiritual experience when I came closer to God in my life. It became so much at times He would show me what would happen before it occurs. I have shared it with many. Apart from that the deep insight into His mind and wisdom and how I now live in obeisance is another testament in my humble life.
