Why will he kill a crocodile if he had chicken at home or meat to eat in his house. It is not a love for bush meat. This is poverty. Hard core. God forbid.
There should be public enlightenment on conservation of wild life, starting with inclusion in primary and secondary school curriculum, and university courses on conservation.

i Just tire. We're so barbaric when it comes to things like this, it's not like we're in war times or there is famine in the land, Just pure gluttony and barbaric instinct of killing and eating anything that moves.

There's a story my uncle told me about when him and his friend first travelled to the USA, one day they were sitting at the park and a raccoon showed up out of nowhere, His friend immediately went after the raccoon and killed it with a big log of wood. The people there were in absolute shock at what they just witnessed and quickly alerted the authorities who came and arrested his friend and from there they deport am straight back to Naija.
