The weapons were purchased by the US from the military industrial complex owned by private corp. the sent weapons were funded by the US military aid programs. The US provides $3.8 billion ANNUALLY to Israel under a 10- year agreement through foreign military financing program. The president needs approval from the congress to spent such amount of money and I'm sure the congress wont hesitate to approve it.
In 2023 alone, Israel got $17.9 billion worth of weapon in military aid to fight in Gaza.

Its a new year now, US will still provide 2,8 billion worth of weapons before the year runs out. The US paid for the weapons. That's why Americans keep saying their tax is being used to fight gaza war.

Isreal then decide on who to buy the weapon from (Germany, US, Italy)
In this case. Isreal bought the weapons from the US.
