The same piece says north has 19m, east 8m and west 7m
It then gives a breakdown which shows that lagos and Ibadan alone have more population than all the major northern centres
How does this make sense to any sane mind?

Nigerian history will be rewritten again, so many lies and propaganda since the abolishment of history in our schools. This was for a reason to make us forget our identities.

Most of those places are large so 50k will be relatively sparse

Nowadays it may not be suitable but in the olden days it was okay. There was hardly any city in the world containing 500k people 250 years ago. Then even nowadays, a settlement of 50k people can not be ruled by everybody together. They must have a sophisticated central government. 50k is not a small population.

I said there was hardly. I did not say there was none. Oyo had over 200k and was the largest in Africa during its time.
