According to Tinubu supporters, he is a god of politics. He is infallible and unstoppable. Even Tinubu himself and those within his cabinet also have this belief. However, like the popular saying, 'pride goes before a nasty fall' emphasis mine. During the heydays of PDP, they also believed they were unstoppable and they claimed they were going to rule for many decades to come. One thing has become clear, and it's the fact that Nigerians including the politicians all have short memories. Everything that happened prior to 2015 are all gradually unravelling with uncanny resemblance... Despite all the spirited efforts of the ruling party to destabilize the opposition parties, a powerfull alignment has started behind the scenes. Already, Tinubu is terribly unpopular in the North, East and indeed across Nigeria except a section of his tribesmen that place bigotry & tribalism above any other consideration. On the international scene, Tinubu is also very unpopular except in France. Africans don't rate him and neither is he recognised in the United States. Tinubu himself knows the importance of having Washington on his side, and that's why Despite how they shunned him during Trump's inauguration, he still hurriedly sent his condolences over the air mishap. The unfolding USAID scandal is going to open a can of worms that will further make APC so unpopular both within and outside Nigeria. Just like Bring Back Our Girls campaign was used to destroy Jonathan while the Democrats in Washington mounted pressure too. Trump's Republican is even more Machiavellan than Obama's. He is currently dealing blows on countries that are supporting BRICS and Tinubu is among them. Tinubu also supported his opponent during the election, so Trump will grab any opportunity to take back his pound of flesh and such opportunities are fast manifesting. Let's not even talk about the Chicago cases the Democrats refused to make public! For those basking in the euphoria of that Tinubu can't be defeated, a shock awaits you! |

I tried reading through what you posted and I can’t find how exactly how the “Opposition are going to win”. I thought you have some strategies on how they can win. Same Opposition that are so fractured that you can’t even identify which party any of them truly belong to or what party they will be when it’s time to contest 2027 election. USAID? Lol most of those aids from USA benefit NGOs and I can also argue that opposition will be mostly impacted if Trump stop all aid to Nigeria. Go and check how much Sowore get from USA, SERAP, and most other supposed activists. How about EndSARS conveners? The FG of Nigeria will always have money to spend, USA aid don’t dictate or control that. How much aid are we even getting from USA? E reach 10% of our budget? |

It's Tinubu till 2031.... who is the opposition? Kwankwaso, Obi, Atiku, who? Will USAID come to vote or is the opposition serious about their coalition? When some said something about a virilie coalition pre-2023 so that even if it doesn't succeed, they will have pushed the incumbent Party all the way, others were screaming, "I rather waste my votes".... So please, let's just pray for the President abeg! |

Nwokem they may be civil war in 2027 because yoruba will want to secede but igbo and fulani elites no go gree Nigeria must be one. |

Are you sure you proofread what you write at all? What exactly is Tinubu's problem with USAID? |
| Re: How Opposition Is Going To Win In 2027 by proeast(op): 3:08pm On Feb 05, 2025 |
Nigeria still has very weak institutions. To unseat an incumbent, you will need the international community, particularly United States to act as pressure. It happened in 2015. Without significant external pressure, eyeneck will rig with impunity again. But knowing there is going to be sanctions and possible crises that could lead to serious consequences, they will be wary. Lol, if you're expecting PDP or LP to be the opposition in 2027 then you don't understand Nigerian politics. A coalition is being hatched as we speak. PDP and LP have become extensions of APC and all the opposition politicians including Atiku, Obi and the rest are already in negotiations behind the scene. Even as unlikely as El Rufai revealed the other time that he was in discussions with Obi. The North knows they can't trust Tinubu and neither has Igbos ever trusted him. What everyone is silently waiting for is a groundswell of alignment and you will see the masses rallying behind it vociferously. USAID was used by the democrats to finance APC propaganda machinery including BBOG. For that reason alone, Trump will further want to prove a point against them by exposing how they aided corruption in developing countries, particularly Nigeria. LegendHero: |

Bookhub:That's their ultimate plan but Nigerians aren't fools. You can't use our best years and billions of dollars of oil money windfall between 1970 to 2025 to build Lagos only for some people to try to break away with it. Hausas, Igbos, Fulanis and the other 200+ ethnic groups will resist it. If Igbos with all their resilience and technology could only resist for 3 years before succumbing, I don't even see Yorubas lasting for 3 months if they try to form Oduduwa. Over 90% of them dream of Oduduwa but they know it will be suicidal to attempt it physically. Aside collective Federal government assets domiciled there, Fulanis and Igbos have also invested billions of dollars and they won't mind going to war to protect it. |

proeast:One quick thing. If Tinubu can remote control LP and PDP like you claimed, why do you think he won’t be able to remote control any coalition that will be formed? All of you are still political babies. North can’t trust him? Which faction of the North? In Kano, do you mean Ganduje won’t trust him again to deliver votes or what do you mean North can’t trust him? Elrufai that can’t even win senatorial and house of rep for APC in Kaduna 2023 election beside his own son and one other person is suddenly the North against Tinubu? Lol Trump who himself is a corrupt village id1ot will suddenly come and fight APC for you because of USAID? Una no wise for your Obidient camp. All of una go learn by 2027. |

If by the end of this year there's no seriously strong political structure against Tinubu against 2027 election, then the votes in 2027 will be between Tinubu and Tinubu-placeholders. But for now, to be realistic, no politician can match him. But let's see if there can be serious and formidable coalition against him before 2027 |

2027 is not about any political coalition or calculation People are tired of APC in the north, east and south Even the west is silently tired Can you believe some federal workers have not received their salaries today even with this Tinubulation 2027 will be for voting anything but APC The trend already started in 2023 and APC had to resort to rigging Let's see how far they can go with that in 2023 |

From the way I see things, APC will still have a field day in the next general election. PDP losing wasn't a result of pride; GEJ lacked the balls, and he wasn't cut for politics. He was just on a lucky winning streak, he was too timid and relaxed. If Buhari could run it, Tinubu would definitely run it very very well. Among the aspirants so far I see no strong contender that can defeat Jagaban. |
