Senate President Godswill Akpabio confronted the Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, over the ongoing leadership crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during a plenary session, News360 Nigeria reports.

Akpabio questioned Moro on the party’s national leadership, saying: “Who is your (PDP) National Secretary?"

"The governors have their National Secretary, and other members have their own National Secretary.”

In response, Abba Moro referenced a recent Court of Appeal ruling, stating:

“The Court of Appeal has ruled that Senator Anyanwu is the secretary of the party.”

News360 Nigeria reports that the PDP has been grappled with internal conflicts since losing the 2023 general election, with different factions emerging as 2027 draws near.

Anybody who decamps from PDP just has to show the video of the fighting that broke out at Wadata plaza dad ago to justify their action.

The PDP needs to stop falling into these little traps and get their acts in order else the APC will poach a lot of their members and they want he able to fight it
