I want to reconfirm if a student original copy of the university transcript that has been authenticated is acceptable at the embassy for Italy visa since getting the official transcript is quite hard since the school won’t give you. I have already used the student transcript and I have translated and authenticated it because I was told that they’ll accept it, I just want to reconfirm. Thank you.

Hello everyone. A quick update on legalization of documents. I was fortunate to get a date but was turned back at the consulate because they no longer accept that particular signature from the consulate.

I would suggest that if anyone's document has a similar signature to mine, please get another before attending your appointment.

The level of capriciousness is unmatched.

See ba, if you want to use someone else's account just make sure you have same surname that's it... there's no way around it..Uncle , brother, grandfather etc...the koko is that let it have d same surname and also make sure they have tax clearance certificate, payment slip( for those working) just start looking for how to get these things... there's still time.

You can only pre enroll when you’ve gotten admission. You don’t need to legalize and authenticate during application

When you’ve gotten admission you can now pre enroll and legalize your documents

Thanks a lot. Please I have another question because I want to start the application when the application for masters program starts around May-June if I’m not mistaken. I have a brother who wants to sponsor me and he stays in Australia, can I use his Australian account to present as proof of fund? If “YES” what are the documents I’ll be using to back it up to avoid visa denial.

Like someone has already explained, you pre-enrol on Universitaly after the school has granted you admission.

I would suggest you proceed with the process of legalizing your documents and obtaining a declaration of value as not only will some schools require that you present the declaration of value but the process of legalizing documents and obtaining a declaration of value can be lengthy and cumbersome.

Getting a date for legalization or DoV using the prenot@mi site can be an uphill task so get on it as soon as possible.

This applies even where your university does not require a DoV as a condition for admission.

Pls how can I get this pre-enrollment form?
I intend to apply for the 2025/26 A. Y scholarship later in the year. I applied to University of Palermo for a postgraduate program. I received an acceptance/pre-admission letter last week but I’m in a fix as to what the next step in the application process is. I’ve tried contacting their international students’ office but the response is quite unclear.
My challenge now is that, so I proceed to the embassy for documentation or register on the “UNIVERSITALY” website?
Again, part of the required document for student visa on the Italian embassy website in Lagos requires submitting “a fully completed pre-enrollment form” for legalization. Where do I get this “pre-enrollment form”?

Pls anyone whom has successfully gone through these processes should help.[color=#006600][/color]

Pre-enrolement will begin next month. Your school will notify you. You will create an account in universitaly.it and fill out the form online. Afterwards, you school when send the pre-enrolement form to your mail for visa processing

My Admission letter and the Authentication of document will be ready by next week.
