Please go with the bank job. You will achieve more with your 10 years in the banking job as a full staff than most of these paramilitaries bar custom. Sometimes it’s not all about job security, don’t limit yourself. What’s the essence of job security without financial security? Good luck!

Someone I know was called to come for interview today. He was asked to come along with a medical fitness. He called back to let me know they sent them to National Assembly to re-run the tests for confirmation of the medical fitness.

Your opinion though. I know many Profit Centre Manager or Relationship officer in banks that are looking for paramilitary job. The stress and target in the banking sector is killing especially marketing department.

Even many people in operation dont find the job fulfilling. Termination of appointment in banks is a normal thing. You can be sacked as a result of your negligence, Cash suppression, failure to follow bank policy,fraud that passes thru ur desk, management can bring a policy that wont be favourable to u.

If there is s fraud in your branch & the money is huge. The whole branch can be wipe out including BM, Cash officer, Head of operation. Some fellow will be facing DC and be hand over to police or EFCC if found guilty as the case maybe.

Most of my friends are working in the bank, UBA, Accesss , Wema, First bank etc. Those that are fortunate worked for few years and traveled to UK, USA, Europe and England respectively. While many of them are struggling on the job, ask many of them questions, u will understand.

With the way Federal government keep increasing salary. I will say paramilitary is hot cake compare to banking sector. I wish him the very best.

You're lucky, people are out there looking for at least one of what you have rn. In my opinion, bank jobs don't have security although the pay might be enticing. But government job na until you retire with confirm pension especially if you start with a degree and you can also run a side hustle with enough time on your hands.

To be honest I just overhead two people talking about it in hausa and I heard nsa. I don't understand hausa so I just asked and the person said a friend just resumed. That they were less than 50 that got employed (mostly adamawa ).

Yeah. I’m putting all options on the table. I really am.
The bank pays double of what paramilitary pays for training school graduates and that money is really entering my eyes. Paramilitary wins in all other aspects

My guy, run from bank oooo. My brother salary is around 480k but the guy no get peace of mind. If him see Para military him go take am ASAP. I know a senior bank officer that has bn with GTB and UBA for 10yrs he left GTB for efcc level 8. Money is good but peace of mind is better.
