34 Sex workers have been arrested in Edo by the state migration agency.

Minors as young as 14years old were among the 34 girls caught selling their bodies for money.
This growing trend of prostitution in Edo needs to be checked before it gets any worse.

Arresting and prosecuting them should not be the ultimate goal. The State should step up Youth competency development program to equip these girls with the necessary skills to be independent. After the training, provide soft loans and financial support.

A beneficiary will be adequately document, such that if you are caught prostituting after this intervention, then "OYO" is your nickname. Sometimes you can't take the mud out of a dirty pig. The money that these politicians are looting, 10% is more than enough to settle these jobless youths milling around.
