Softmirror will always want to counter this cos his mentor is in power. You don't expect him to support the ppst, even though inside of him, he's crying. I see people ask me to buy food for them on a regular basis. They'd tell.me they don't need the money, but the food..right in my presence, they'd devour the food and walk away.

When people approach you for money, that's when you can say begging isn't a new thing. What of a patient coming out of lasuth asking you to please get her a.list of drugs cos she doesn't even have money to go back home talk more of being able to afford the drugs? Or an anke-bodied man showing you 100 naira as his.last card, asking you to please pay a keke rider a fare that will take him home...I do these all the time. O paid one.keke.man 300 naira recently, from alagbado to command. I thought he was going to collect the momey from hom amd.come down,.whucb some smart people can do. I hid somewhere. The keke zoomed off until it disappeared from my sight

You see eeh, karma is real. When you defend evil, what comes your way won't be funny. Leave them. They think they can play God. Are you aware Nigeria is now the 4th largest economy in africa? Tjat tells you the height of poverty in the land.. sadly, only Nigeria is experiencing this hardship the most in africa. Go to Benin republic and spend 5 days, they'd think you travelled to Europe by the time you return.
And at present I have gotten over 100 likes?! My comment is not a lie but the TRUTH. I didn't say there are no genuine people who seek for help either.

Nothing new. The worst is when they turn you to their ATM simply because you showed sympathy. It's mostly manipulation. A lot of people see begging as 'an' easy way. Nothing new in the trend.

Begging is a full time job for a lot of people if you only know and the irony is how the laugh behind your back afterwards because they make so much money everyday begging. I know a begger who owns properties worth millions. There are lots of such people on Nairaland too, who are making money from begging. People make transfer to them every now and then. The genuine people who sincerely need help are very few.

More so, is when they turn you to their ATM and the moment you don't give, they start showing ingratitude either by misbehaving some will even insult you in your face.

Imagine some heartless comments posted,
I pray they should not expirence what would warrant them to begging, becos it's not their wish to beg.

Though I beg when was schooling unaware , from ibadan to Lagos, to add to my TF.

First case is still understandable. He might have had plans to meet someone for a business deal that did NOT pan out.

He had a VIABLE excuse for getting stranded.

But the second guy is plain MADNESS!
People like that should NEVER be given handouts.

A poor man found himself an EQUALLY poor woman and they bleeped raw until they made a baby whom they can give NOTHING but more poverty.

That's NOT just poverty.
That is STUPIDITY!
And WICKEDNESS too.

Having a child when you know you CANNOT take of a child is EVIL!

Both of them WILLINGLY signed up to get hitched to their POOR selves. But that child DIDN'T.

Condom is JUST #300. Get it and don't make your IRRESPONSIBILITY the problem of other people.

"I don't like condom" is NOT for people who are suffering from perennial poverty.

It's one thing to be a well-to-do couple who had their child/children BEFORE they fell on hard times.

It's ANOTHER thing for a pauper who moved from his family house to a face-me-i-face-you apartment and still DEFAULTS on rent to IMPREGNATE a fellow pauper.

That's MADNESS!

I HATE people like that.
They deserve ZERO sympathy or assistance.
you talked like a small kid. Do you now how many people this administration have thrown into poverty?
Do you know how many Nigerians that were doing excellently well before this abomination of a president took over power? I know how personally I have been affected. A whole lot of contractual engagement we had but we cant meet up now because of the true situation of things. when we say Buhari and Tinubu wrecked the country you think its a joke.
The middle class have been eroded by the calamity of a president.

Pray let Nigeria not happen to you

People are hungry and dying but cannot hold their government accountable.

Before you come and tell me it's my responsibility to find a job, those who have jobs are also suffering.

The government continues to impoverish the people with bad policies that are only favorable to themselves.

Una never dey hungry yet.

I want Tinubu to punish you all to the point where you set aside your tribal and religious differences and unite against the bad leaders that are leading you and your children and their children into starvation and penury.
You can start by telling us how to hold the government accountable

keep telling lies and feeding the ideology of your fellow heartless stingy association.

I was told that Elon musk too begged his way to the top. Dangote too begged for food in tears , in front of Mr Biggs for ten years, before he made it .
Just listen yourself.

There is hunger in the land, if you want to give give, don't discourage people that have the heart of gold to give, so because some people turn begging to job means that their is no begger? Why can't you give without looking back or stop having second thought on what you give beggers..if you don't give nobody will come and tear your pocket 🤔.
