The gunmen reportedly stormed a mosque in Bushe town at dawn on Thursday, abducting at least 10 worshippers, including the Imam.

A local source in the community, who spoke to PUNCH Online by phone, said the attack occurred while worshippers were performing their early morning Subhi prayer.

The source added that the community had suffered repeated attacks despite the presence of security forces, including troops of Operation Fasan Yamma from the Nigerian Army’s 8 Division headquarters.

A member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly representing the area, Sa’idu Ibrahim, also confirmed the incident, stating that at least 10 people were kidnapped. He, however, commended the troops for preventing further abductions. Lost My Legs Saving

Anyone living in kidnap hotspots in Nigeria should consider speaking to Jesus from home so as to avoid going to crowded churches where the risk of kidnapping by bloodthirsty Islamic militants is critically high.

Sometimes I only scan the headline. If the distinction that you are seeking to make is that it was a mosque and not a church where worshippers were abducted, then your point is well taken even though we all know churches ARE attacked just as often by bandits and kidnappers. '

My security advice for anyone resident in Nigeria therefore remains unchanged. Because Nigeria's kidnap rate currently ranks among the highest on Earth, common sense dictates that staying away from crowded places, and avoiding non-essential road travel is a good idea when in Nigeria.

Nigeria is failed state, different criminal gangs have carved out territories for themselves, the government is unable to undertake its basic task of security.
We should peacefully disolve this country before it becomes too late

Where was their Sultan who wanted to impose Shari'a on Yoruba.

So what is the usefulness of Shari'a now ?

The law of Allah that's supposed to bring order to a society has now become an enabler of chaos, terror and destruction.

And they want to create more states in the North instead of dealing with poverty in the existing states.

Sultan is busy fighting for Sharia in Yoruba land while his domain is on fire.
What positives has sharia added to Sokoto State apart from amputation of the poor and marrying of under age girls.

Sokoto State is among States in Nigeria with highest Out of School Children.
There is high rate of criminality and banditry in the state.
Many Hausa farmers can't go to their farms because of kidnapping by Fulani. Meanwhile the Sultan is a Fulani man.
