Foreign governments should be more reluctant to take donations/assistance from the US for now. it's a trap! |

Moniter0:But Russia is a better dignified country than that US. US will squeeze resources and dignity out of you for every penny they give to you. Them and the rest of the west are the masters of slave trade, colonialism and neo-colonialism. Imagine, Trump still wants to annex Greenland and Canada in THIS AGE AND TIME. |

chopnaira:And rightly so. Why should niheria not be able to preserve her own artifacts without donations? At a time when Trump is looking at Africa and querying donations, a wise country or organization would avoid for now..... Or you really think these donations are not trojan horses? |

JoeEeL:FYI, Obas and chiefs who worshipped Osun were the ones who made human sacrifices, kept slaves and sold even Osun worshippers and it's descendants to Brazil and other parts of the world. Christianity preached against slavery, got the governments all over the world to abolish it. Even came to Nigeria to force our leaders to stop slave trading up to jailing recalcitrant leaders. So where was Osun when it's worshippers were captured and sold ![]() The evil and atrocities that idolatry committed against our forefathers made the sensible ones to quit! |

Gotocourt:Not just clay. Nok culture inspired the creation of some of the oldest art form to come from Africa dating back circa 1000 BCE I.e 1000 year before the birth of Jesus Christ. Nigerians should be extremely proud of Nok terracotta work If we are not, in the majority, a people keen to dismiss our own native culture in haste to embrace the culture, ways and religion of others. Nok work, importantly, conclusively proves the existence of a sophisticated and civilised culture in Nigerian societies long before the arrival of the Europeans.

Karlovich:Lol. You lot should try to shut up so that your demented, condemnable and bigoted hatred of others is not so visible. $90,000 that cannot buy a decent detached home in Lekki? Just shows most of you guys are spare parts touts without a clue. Even Tinubu's grandchildren, Seyi's kids for example, are dollar millionaires per assets/cash in trust for them. |
