The Concerned Christian Youth Forum has claimed responsibility for the arrest of popular TikToker, Ogunsanwo Olumide John, also known as Seaking, for allegedly insulting the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

Ogunsanwo was picked up by officials of the Nigeria Police in Lagos and moved to the Federal Investigation Department (FID) in Abuja under DIG Dasuki Galandanchi for alleged cyberbullying.

The content creator had, in a viral video on TikTok, branded Pastor Adeboye as “very stupid and foolish" for subjecting his congregation to a 100-day fast.

According to Adama, targeting such a prominent and respected figure like Pastor Adeboye serves as a stark reminder of the growing menace of cyber harassment and the urgent need to address it before it spirals out of control.
