As an intraday trader, Learn to book profit the moment you reach 20pips or set breakeven, your one hour timeframe setup is good, but your trade can be invalidated by 4hour or daily timeframe structure if you do not consider it before entry, that is your SL being hit, because many forex broker manipulate their traders with higher timeframe, that is why I always identify with higher timeframe ranging down from daily timeframe to 15mins timeframe where I took my entry, I did not stop there, I go further to monitor the trade with 5mins and 1mins timeframe to know when the trade is going against me and close it manually...They are many to learn on forex trading, and we are still learning it.. Peace!!!

You are correct but not very correct.

We are saying the same thing but With a little misunderstanding on calculations. I just posted my new account (3rd account) above this post.

Now back to the issue:
These accounts were valid for 2weeks each. My first account closed at +36profit.
My second account closed with +72profit at the end.
I had open position on Friday in a little negative which you rightly calculated. Now market opened and my open position is closed. Remember these are within the 2weeks interval the account is to run (even if it's was the last seconds).

Are you going to throw away the point on my second account because your calculations took place on Friday while my account expires on early hours of Monday?


That's why I use the word "update/correct".

Omo, this competition while being okay, it will make the Thread Cluttered and Littered making one miss legit updates

I suggest that a A seperate thread be created for this competition and then information and updates regarding the progress of the competition be posted here only by the admin or Organizers.

This will allow one not missing out on legit updates and not make the thread overly stuffy.
