Sometimes they wont care about your huge balance to give you a visa, they will look at what you make regularly that will not make you abscond if given opportunity. You are not coming to stay more than 6 months so they dont need your local security police check.

Their check is usually your travel records to other countries, any previous asylum claims, involvement in terrorism etc? Can Nigerian Police provide these intel? No... so police record is not needed. This is where RCMP comes to play.

For Work Permit, PR, Student and others because you may be staying more than 6 months, they need additional local information from your local police but often time their analysis proves local police gives them near zero intels.

I got 10years...my third attempt. My application took well over 6months. Thank God my time for passport submission did not elapse(I had 2 days left). UK held on to my passport longer than usual. i had to go the embassy to cry, lo and behold they still had it(sealed but was not sent back to OIS).

If your wife is pregnant already she will likely give birth in Nigerian before the work visa process is completed ( LMIA, IRCC application, job offer etc) thats assuming he is genuine. Job offers are being illegally sold for 20-30k Canadian dollars. If you think an agent will be able to work it for you for 2m naira they usually ask for . Then OYO
