Gavi is doing double work over there in this match. Gavi is the number 10 role yet he's the one doing most of the defensive midfield work for De Jong and Pedri who are both the DMs.
Again I ask what's De Jong's purpose in this match cos I can't understand how Pedri and Gavi are both doing his job for him.

Gavi can't work cos he's doing two jobs at the same time when he's supposed to focus on feeding his attackers. He's the one making interceptions and tackles, running up in the box and deep midfield yet there's a De Jong in the pitch.

He's coming back from a long term injury so I ain't looking much into his game.
I remember some people where after the head of Balde earlier this season forgetting he was also coming from a long injury. But we can see how souch improved his game has been lately.

The players most absent in this game to me seems to be Raphinha and De Jong.

Oga, there was no significant positional mistake by either defender. Sevilla has set up perfectly to beat the offside trap, they used their forward as a decoy (he stays offside ) and then a player runs into the space left by the 2 centre backs. Sometimes an offside trap can be beaten by good execution of the attacking team.

I am a little bit worried the VAR officials showed the referee just the angle needed to give him a red card. After the red card was given, we are now seeing footage of him actually getting the ball before getting his leg. I feel it's unfair

These Sevilla guys are too rough and physical and they haven't gotten any red
