I was against having Sharia courts in the south but after the arrest of Akwa Okuko simply because he practices African traditional religion by the Christian governor, I support Sharia in the south.

Note: I am not a Muslim nor do I practice African traditional religion. I just want the African identity and culture to be preserved.

Sharia law is not African Culture or identity, it was brought by Arabs to Africa through conquering and wars. Almost all Hausa tradional kings were removed and replaced with Fulani Emirs.

They have many structure already. Church marriage is constitutional backing, Christians marriage dispute are settling within Church committees, government allow mission hospital, theology schools are recognized. What will xtians asked for.

Muslims in SW are asking for Shariah panel (Muslims committes) to cater for Muslims marriage dispute and inheritance sharing according to their faith. Then what's the issue

Any Gov that try it in the south west will have to contend with the crisis that would follow.
