Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal filed by Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, challenging the judgment that voided the presentation and passage of the state's 2024 budget.

Why did the governor withdrew the appeal ? That's the question you should be asking your self, there 4 more cases to go

One of the directives of President Bola Tinubu in the peace talk was for all parties to withdraw any case they have in court against one another.Governor Fubara withdrew his case,while wike and his boys did not. So as the case escalated, the court used it against the governor.But the supreme court decision will not hold ground because the case is about 2024 budget presentation, which has been spent and the 2025 budget passed.So the governor canot go back to represent 2024 budget that has been exhausted. The case of defection is still with supreme court.
