IfnobeGod20:Mr Law (lol) where was it stated that those members defected? Can you provide the documents they signed for defection? Can you provide where chairman of the other party received them? Show us proof pls. I hope you're not talking about defection by mere "declaration" or photo-ups. I don't follow politics. But by training, I work on/follow facts, not mere rhetorics! |

But the Truth be told,to those who are too embittered about Wike, for not allowing them to have Rivers State- why should 4-Legislatures be Approving Humongous NBILLIONS - out of 27- Legislatures, yet Governor Fubara and his acolytes love it so? Haba! Don't you people have fear of God,for what % is four to 27 Assembly men, and your resources are being plundered? Fubara,na wa for you o! This is Not how to play Politics of Bitterness, but you were given that place by Wike, even though, there are Others well politically matured than you are! Governor Fubara- please Calm down! Please, allow Rivers State to move forward ⏩. |

Akpakomiza2:Whether the 2024 budget is illegal or not it has overtaken by an event and the event is that the 2025 budget is in operation. Go and listen to Femi Falana on the same issue today. You can search for the video on the net. I have it but can post video here. He explicitly said, this suit was filed before their defection and their defection suit is already at the federal high court in Portharcout. Meaning if they go to court again to fight for the representation of the 2025 budget to them, the respondent will have a enough ground to address their defection properly as they were unable in this 2024 budget suit. Just try and search for video of Femi Falana reaction to supreme court judgement on Rivers state 2024 budget representation and you will get clearer picture. |

commoditiesnig:Mr. Man, APC is just been smart by half. These are people that declared their defection on a live tv and they were welcomed by the state chairman of APC in Rivers state and they went to court to go and sworn an affidavit to handicap INEC, State assembly and PDP not to declare their seats vacant because they claimed their was an issue in their former party. Except you wished to tell the world that anyone can just go to court to swear an affidavit without no cogent reason. Have you sat down to ask yourself why they went to the same court to withdrew same affidavit they sworn to. The mean thing is, they cannot undo what has been done because a case has been filed on that ground. You cannot aprobate and reprobate at the same time. Not allowed in law, even though I am not a lawyer but I know all this basic. If not they have committed perjury for lying on oath, hence they are liable to jail term. |

IfnobeGod20:Falana is fubara lawyer so what do you expect him to say? I rule you out of order... The appeal court ordered the budget to be presented to Amaewhule group which is legitimacy and that ruling subsists. Fubara lost today and would still have lost whether he withdrew or not. The apex court ordering fubara to pay separate fines to Amaewhule and the assembly should tell you the direction of the case. Fubara will lose heavily |

IfnobeGod20:Yes, they can go to jail for perjury but there's not sufficient ground to claim they defected so fubara loses |

Peacecore:Anything done outside God is nullity. As God is the alpha and the Omega of everything in life. If they wished the 2024 budget to be represented to them, they should tell God to rewind the year back because as it is today, we are in 2025 and the budget of 2025 is now in operation or in the event they cannot rewind 2024, they should sue the state governor again on the 2025. Go to net and go and search for the video interview of Femi Falana on the 2024 representation of Rivers state budget at the supreme court yesterday and you will get clearer picture. Thank you! |

Akpakomiza2:Let the court pronounced that there is no sufficient ground for their defection but now their actions and inactions shows they have defected and as such they should wait till court says otherwise. I am sure if the court says otherwise, I know many will file a case of perjury on them immediately. They will go from fry pan into the fire. Nigeria news to be sanitized from the unstable individuals playing with our constitution because of politics. Enough is enough . They have used politics to reck the country and debar her the rightful growth. |

WIKE LOSES OUT AS PDP ACCEPT COURT RULING, RESTORES HIS EXCELLENCY Sir Siminalayi Fubara EXCO IN RIVERS STATE. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU SIR . The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has acknowledged and accepted the judgment of the Rivers State High Court, which nullified the party's Ward, Local Government, and State Congresses conducted on July 27, August 10, and August 31, 2024, respectively. In compliance with the court's decision delivered on Monday, January 13, 2025, the NWC has reinstated the Hon Nname Robinson Ewor -led Rivers State Executive to oversee the affairs of the PDP in the state, under the party's constitution. The NWC commended the court's decision, emphasizing the PDP's commitment to transparency, internal democracy, and adherence to the rule of law in its operations. A statement signed by the PDP national publicity secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba read in parts: The NWC charges the Ewor-led Rivers State Executive to work hard to further unite the Party in the State so that the people of Rivers State can continue to enjoy the massive dividends of democracy as being delivered by our performing governor, Sir. Siminalayi Fubara, in line with the manifesto and policy thrust of the PDP. The NWC commends all members of the PDP in Rivers State for their steadfastness and unshaken belief in the ideals of the Party as a truly democratic and all-inclusive Party guided only by the collective Will, yearning and aspiration of the people." |

Akpakomiza2:My brother, court rulings do not contemplate and no court will contemplate for the petitioner or the respondent. The case in contention borders on 2024 budget representation and an event has overtaken the 2024 budget representation to Martins and his group of 26 friends because the 2025 budget is now in force. They should go to any high court of their choice to ask for the 2025 budget representation to them and let us hear what the court will say. Shikena! |
