It does not reduce fuel consumption! The only place it works is in your head! On the generator, it doesn't Consumption is not from tank to carburetor, but from carburetor to engine, carburetor has a lockup control valve that control the flow of fuel into the carburetor. So, you're only helping the valve to do its job😄, and attempting to spoil your engine...so just bring down the rpm simple. 51 Likes 7 Shares

It helps in very small generator when there's very little fuel left in the tank. Bending it to a certain angle helps in utilizing the reserve fuel. 6 Likes 1 Share |

I recall having a similar argument with my neighbors way back in EKSU. They used to argue that "for a given volume of fuel" the volume of water pumped is equal to the volume dispensed, regardless of whether the occupants were using the water during the pumping process or not. I tried using some basic fluid mechanics concepts to explain further, but you know people who have roadside mentality, you can hardly change their view Oh I remember, same with the "AC dey consume fuel argument" too. |
