What is the problem with her age and being a state lawmaker? Do you have a database of older people ALONE being in similar positions in developed countries where we are running to?

Also, what is the problem with politicians having their children inherit their profession. Don't we have that in other professions? Don't we have that in other saner clime countries?

Instead of wailing and cursing hopelessly, why not get to work on different aspects of the political and governance processes to have your own visions and worldviews dominate the conversations that translate into policies and government actions?
