Man Who Was Paraded In Anambra As 'unknown Gunman' Regains Freedom-pic by attackgat(op): 8:08pm On Feb 12, 2025
Last week, a video clip went viral of Anambra State government vigilantes, known as 'Agunechemba' as they arrested several men, blindfolded them, and dumped them in the back of Hilux. They branded the men criminals, kidnappers and 'Unknown gunmen'. This happened in Ogbunka, Owerri- Ezukala.

After a preliminary investigation on the arrested suspected unknown gunmen at Owerre-Ezukala in Orumba South local government area of Anambra state, some of the arrested suspects have been released after ascertaining their innocence.

This man from the neighboring town of Ogbunka is the fat man in the Hilux van whose face was covered with cloth.

The rate at which Anambrarians are complaining about this Agunechemba is worrisome. Everyday it's about who they arbitrarily arrested, tortured or killed. I'm also concerned of another report that most of the Agunechemba are not even Igbos!

Soludo better know what he is doing, Uzodimma went down this route in Imo State and turned the place into a war zone

Soludo spent most of his time fighting ESN and IPOB, instead of going after the foreign induced kidnapping menace ravaging his state. Time he would have used fighting real kidnappers, he spent that running from pillar to post trying to engage in some sort of shadow boxing with IPOB. He was all over the place trying to tie the Biafran agitations to the activities of the unknown gunmen.

Try to tell them that there is a distinction between the two, they will readily disagree. Pure elitist arrogance. Always aloof. Too full of himself. I suspect that most eastern politicians are a bit uncomfortable sharing the spotlight with all the characters that were thrown up in recent years by the Biafra movement. Look at the short engine at the lion House at enugu.

-Crime happens

State: IPOB is responsible

IPOB: It is the state behind the crime, also it is their job to protect civilians

State: Sends police and soldiers to stop the criminals

IPOB: The state has sent corrupt officers working for fulanis to oppress us, we must resist and curse them

State: Reduce officers presence and effectiveness

Even if competence metamorphosed into Bread before your eyes. Same you will still call it Cassava.

IGBOs know themselves and your propaganda against their region is now so obvious that they now understand that in the Southern part of NIGERIA,your region is worthless.

Unfortunately in critical matters of security, there will be situations like this especially when the innocent ones are caught in the middle of the crossfire with the real criminals. It's actually laudable the agunechemba security operatives were timely and professional enough in releasing him cause the outcome could have been much worse (imagine it it were the trigger happy Nigerian soldiers or Police that got him).

Meanwhile, the only people who are angry and drumming up all sorts of propaganda about the launching of Agunechemba are mostly IPOB miscreants, na dem dey cry pass since the recent successes recorded by the security outfit, cause it's not business as usual for them anymore.

Anyone who has been paying attention to the security algorithm in Anambra lately and is honest with him/herself will definitely admit that the spate of criminality and kidnappings in Anambra has drastically reduced since Udo ka chi was launched.
