Those children think world revolves around them, since mama and papa worship them at home.

Even if the lecturer assaulted her she should not have behaved that way. Most children of these days are like that. Very uncultured. Parents of these days have failed miserably in raising morally upright kids. Our wokeness has damaged the next generation. It's a pity. That girl has brought disgrace to her family and mum that works in the school.
The wise King Solomon said a child you fail to train will one day bring disgrace to you. It's clear the mother failed miserably in raising her. Gone are the days when women used to carry themselves with elegance and class. Now they have become monsters.

Normally the young lady is a prideful, unintelligent person just like most of them these days with their expensive iPhones and Brazilian hair. And the fact that she has a lecturer mother in the same University makes her feel too powerful. The touch on her shoulder by the lecturer completely crushed her entire self-worth which she had built entirely around her imagined 'beauty', hence the extreme reaction we saw in the video.

Having said, I don't know what the said lecturer had in mind by touching the lady to get right of way. Naturally, you don't do that! No to a stranger, anyway! Even if she is taking up the whole space. You can verbally call her out and wait... then observe whether she complies or not. Then you can proceed with whatever action you think is best. Again, if you wanted her to delete the video but she refuses, why not you involve the school internal security? Why take the law into your own hands and bring yourself to her level, even beneath her level considering the way she completely bulldozed him without any restrained.

He walked down from some feet away and went to the girls personal space, while challenging her and tried to take her phone away without consent and an empty brain like you said that she should not defend herself. She should let him have the phone forcibly and delete what he want to delete and then,you will be happy that the girl is a good person. Hopefully, that happen to you some day.
To make it clear to you, the Lecturer will lose the case and even get reprimanded. QED.

I'm surprised at your position.

First off, what is to distinguish that lecturer from any other person or student if e is not the students lecturer?.

Secondly, when a lecturer attempts to forcefully retrieve a students phone , there will be physical resistance. We're not holding brief for the student but we're holding the lecture to account who is supposed to be the voice of reason and the symbol of decorum in that event.

Also, since when does physical contact with students in higher institution been so trvialsed?

Can she try the nonsense in Stanford, oxford or Cambridge? I've never heard the children of our politicians and lecturers behaving badly outside Nigeria because they know the consequences

The way the lecturer comported himself while being assaulted needs to be studied and taught in schools. I will definitely fail that course if I took it.
