Lol...Biodun, go back to school...or ask your little cousin in JS 1 to explain how Tinubu does not hold forex on behalf of Nigeria and releasing does not have an effect on inflation.

Its too complex for you to understand,Biodun.
Why were some of you shouting that Tinubu was depleting foreign reserve when dollar went back to 800 naira from 1800 naira sometimes ago?

Wow

With a barrel of crude oil currently at 71 USD

That means Nigeria will be making a total of

$71 times 1,500,000

= $106,500,000 Daily

In Naira!

181 Billion Naira Daily.

Now the big question is, where will all these money go to?
Cost of production in Niger Delta is high. It cost up to 48 dollars per barrel in 2024 ( highest ever) due to unpredictability in the region. So at $71, both Nigeria and the foreign companies get just $23. So that’s 60 Billion naira daily. From that 60 Billion, NNPC gets about 30% only. That’s 18 Billion naira daily.

Be guided that the Joint Venture partners take 40% in some cases and others take up to 20% in Production Sharing Contracts in the deepwater assets, after they have recouped the cost of the Field Development. Everything does not belong to Nigeria

Nigeria don’t get to pocket all that monies, the IOCs get their share of the proceeds as cost of exploration I think 60% joint venture proceeds (JV) while the government gets 40%.

Shallow thinking. So all the money goes to the government and none to the companies that produced the oil. No wonder it's easy to manipulate Nigerians.

Hate for a wonderful record breaking news? Nigeria had about 2.2 million barrels daily OPEC quota until APC happened. And today, people are supposed to clap and celebrate and not hate for Nigeria attaining 1.5 million barrels per day opec quota. Typical low thinking APC people.

Most of you opposing tinubu re most useless animals on earth by asking were re all the money going to not minding the cost of production and others will be deducted. Infact what Nigeria collect is royalty.
Ewu Umuahia, why didn't you ask the above question when Jonathan was president. We re going to support him this time around because Tinubu polices re sin qua non for Nigerian development.
