Cocoa house sickness - when a country or state use huge chunk of money to build feel good or legacy project that is not economically viable just to show off

Especially when their re other economic pressing issues... And most times it's done with borrowed money

If the President is re-elected, and the economy continues to improve, in about 4 years time, I can imagine the President wanting several federal government responsibilities delegated to regional Commissions.

If each regional commission can be getting N1 trillion subvention in 4 years time, and more in future years, that will transform them into administrative power houses.

The management of all existing federal roads within their respective regions can be handed over to them. Agricultural development, housing etc, even health can be handed over to them.

The federal government should focus on defense, foreign affairs, internal affairs (interior), and national economy.

If Mr Tinubu can deliver all these before he leaves government, thereby reducing the focus on the centre, he would have delivered an acceptable form of regional administration without the North being able to block it.

Ondo is part of nddc, because it has oil.
Cross river in SS is not , because it does not have oil.
Ondo is part of nndc and Swdc
Akwa ibom, river, delta, edo, bayelsa are part of nddc and ssdc.
Cross river is part of ssdc, but not nndc

Cocoa House is still an architecturally stunning building that symbolises the essence of progressive Yoruba leadership the "Sage" , Awolowo, and other Yorubas exemplified.

It is an inspired and iconic choice that simply needs modernisation and sympathetic restoration. It can be retrofitted to look even better than FAMFA tower in Ikoyi owned by Folorunsho Alakija.
