Lagos is Yorubaland and Yorubas own Lagos State.. LASG has every constitutional right to make Yoruba language compulsory in the State's primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. Lagos State House of Assembly and all public offices in Lagos can and will adopt Yoruba language as means of communication in order to preserve and promote Yoruba language.

If Igbos don't want their language to go.extinct, they should relocate en masse to their envlave and enact laws in their home States too that will preserve their language. You can't stay in Lagos and be scheming to preserve your language in another man's land

My people of the East nothing is stopping us from building schools in areas where we have significant population and teaching Igbo in such schools whether private or mission school. But you cannot dictate to Lagos government what they will put in their curriculum, that's purely that discretion. I remember Plateau State had Igbo JSSCE exams but that was purely the education ministry's discretion probably because private and mission schools organized themselves and applied for such.

Abuja indigenous language of gbagyl tribe will be made compulsory in Abuja secondary schools when a gbagyl person becomes minister of fct. Abuja is a land of a minority tribe so Hausa cannot be imposed but rather the indigenous language of the gbagyl people using Yoruba people logic. Yoruba is too ethnocentric for any meaningful progress to take place in the Yoruba dominated states of the south west
