EmperorCaesar:It's complete opposite. Yoruba said Igbo people made Tinubu lose in Lagos. And they had to try their best to disenfranchise Igbos in Lagos. So you're trying to distort facts |

madridguy:Na crase they worry them. Who hold them not to teach Igbo language in igboland. Yoruba has been resetting their brain, since after election cos they have taken things to be granted and igbos wanted to take advantage. If igbos are not comfortable with it, they can take their children to the east for education. They will learn in the hard way, according to Verydarkman. |

LagosOrigin:Yorubas has been defeating you igbos since a long time. You are just making noise. Ordinary treating by lagospedia last year, we all saw how you people were crying. |

EmeeNaka:When they did inclusiveness, you igbos abuse it. So be ready to bear the consequences. Yorubas over the years were so generous to you people unlike the north. Why did you people not for once dictate to Northerners who should be thier governor in any of their states. You people are not the only tribe in Lagos. Others behave themselves but you people are to lousy and arrogant with exemption to few ones. |

| Re: Igbos Condemn Teaching Only Yoruba Language In Lagos-owned Schools, by kedeojo(m): 8:12pm On Feb 14, 2025 |
EmperorCaesar:leave the emotional lad. When Yoruba is been taught, their children can go and play outside. Igbos always overate themselves. What did they even have in Lagos. The biggest companies are own by Yorubas. We have silent Northerners with large business interest also. They should know the difference between a trader and a manufacturer. Let them go and goggle Thomas Okoya and his Eleganza group. |

Ruke1989: They forget Lagos is like Abuja. Imagine if all the money used in developing Abuja was focused on the oil producing areas, I believe things could have been better. During election they will put on Igbo and Hausa attires to solicit for votes. |

EmeeNaka:And who are you to tell Lagos State govt how to govern/rule the State? Is soludo and otti not doing the same in south-east? |

EmperorCaesar:When a slave stays too long, he begins to challenge his master. The problem is that Yorubas are too liberal, that is why they claim that Lagos is no man’s land. Is Abuja, Kaduna or Kano not cosmopolitan? Don’t they have Ohanaeze chapters in those states ? Why don’t they challenge the governments of those states? It’s a ploy to spread the igbo language in order to eventually take over Lagos. |

Tegabadguy:Show evidence that Ibos have been in Lagos since 1892. When Ibos came to Lagos State...? During and After Biafra war , the population of Ibos in Lagos State is low....very few..... Up until 1990, the Ibos did not have a larger population in Lagos. |

THE AWORI ARE NOT YORUBA. THEN YOU HAVE TRIBES FROM ACROSS NIGERIA THAT HAVE BEEEN THEIR NOW FOR 100YEARS OR MORE. SHOW RESPECT AND DECORUM TO THE DIVERSITY OF LAGOS STATE. |

I don't think this is true and again it shouldn't be an issue nah... When I was in secondary school at afromedia, they used to teach Igbo language.. If they don't offer Igbo language in Lagos,it shouldn't be a big deal... In Benin schools, yoruba language is taught, maybe cos of cultural and traditional ties and stuff....this shouldn't be an issue at allllll....if you are Igbo or yoruba or Hausa or calabar, teach your kids your language at home... Btw, Brighton 3 Shepe 0 😂😂😂😂😂 |

legitnow1:Egun and Awori are sub Yoruba groups. Ironu ikoko lo ma pa aja. Have you interviewed Awori and Egun, and they've told you they are not Yoruba?. My mother is an Awori, some of us are even married to an Egun, we all know who we are. This one that worthless " tonna wa ebis " come online to dissociate us from our lineage, is what I don't understand. |
