I used to think Boko Haram was an artistic machinations. Pieces of evidence available before me show that a Nigerian artiste with Hollywood connections was caught plotting with Boko boys, or at least enjoying the spectacle. Don’t know if some of you are just deliberately trying to misconstrue what was said. They never said the US gov’t intentionally set out to covertly sponsor terrorism through their USAID program. Rather they’re saying the corruption, lack of accountability and poor institutions in Nigeria enabled some of the funds the US sent to benefit the bokos in one way or another.

BTW the BH connection was only mentioned in passing with NO EVIDENCE that the funds came from USAID. Republicans have been known to stretch the truth when it suites them.
