Hi everyone,

I have question that I would appreciate if anyone have gone through the same process. If a husband wants to sponsor his wife who's on Open work permit for PR. through the inland sponsorship route. Will they be able to leave canada for Vacation while waiting for the process? yes wife has a valid visa and work permit.

Hello,

This is not a problem. Proceed with the next steps.

It’s “Master’s degree/professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession” on the EE application

The later is what your evaluation falls under.

Cheers.

Hi again,

My ECA report came back today thankfully.

My only concern is that the Canadian Equivalence says Doctor of Medicine*. I’m a bit confused, because I was expecting to see a Masters equivalency.

Could you please help with any clarification.

Many thanks for your assistance thus far.

I saw a pilot program opened for PR to Canada and want to apply for it.

My main challenges are -

1. Will my work experience in Nigeria counts as per NOC TEER requirement?
2. ECA accreditation of my Nigeria certificates

2. ECA accreditation of my Nigeria certificates
The major requirement is getting a job offer from approved employers within the community. From what I can see on the website, the 1 year minimum work experience will depend on what teer/noc the job you get is in.

2. ECA is required for majority in the pool except you have a canadian degree. There are organisations that do this, WES is one of them.

There are different bodies that offer ECA. WES is one of them, ICES is another. Check page 1 for more details and go with the one you prefer.

Hi everyone,

Please does anyone know if a certification like CIBN can also count as an extra diploma like your ICAN to get additional points?

I have this already and don’t know if i should still start pursuing a master’s degree for extra points.

No. You can start and complete short certification exam like CIMA Ba1-ba4 or ACCA F1-3 certificate level within a month or two faster than masters. For guide and study material, you can reach out to me08106337690. Exam questions are objective and are mostly repetition from the learning resources.

For most medical professions where licensing is required to practice such as Medicine, Pharmacist, Doctor, etc. and the degree completed in 4+ years, they're usually assessed as equivalent to Bachelor of, Doctor of or PhD.

However, both a bachelor and Doctor degree for a professional medical education have the same point as a Master's degree for a non-medical education.

So, your ECA of Doctor of Medicine will earn you the same CRS Education Point as a Master's Degree. You will not lose any point.

Finally, you have nothing to worry about. The case office will assess your education points based on the assessment outcome on your ECA report.

Please I want to confirm how many years of work experience does one need to have in the primary NOC, does it have to be the current job and should the experience be in the last 3 or ten years?

Please I have a question. If you don't have the enough money required, how can the person go about it.

Also, at what stage do you need to submit the proof of funds? When entering the pool or when you're invited to apply?

Please another question. For those that studied law which is best for me to use to evaluate my documents.

Also, what am I supposed to evaluate? My LLB or my law school certificate?

Hi everyone, I recently moved to Calgary from Lagos, Nigeria, and I’m looking for guidance on the process of getting a driver’s license in Alberta. I have a few questions and would appreciate any insights from those who have gone through the process:

1. Is it necessary to obtain my driving history from the FRSC (Federal Road Safety Corps) in Nigeria, or would my original Nigerian driver’s license suffice for the application?
2. Are there any specific steps or documents I should prepare in advance to make the process smoother?
3. If anyone has gone through a similar process lately, I’d love to hear about your experience and any tips you might have.
Thank you in advance for your help!

You can use gift deed to support ur pof requirement
And it when you're invited to apply that u need to show proof of fund!

1. Only Original Nigeria drivers licence helps you qualify for a road test(Class 5) after passing the knowledge test (Class 7) if you have previous years of experience in Nigeria.
Driving history only helps with a few insurance companies to reduce your insurance premiums, most insurance companies in Alberta dis days prefer North American driving history.

2. Study Alberta driver’s handbook and challenge the Class 7 test at any registry close to you. A pass qualifies you for Class 5 road test, the registry agent will collect your Nigeria Licence for verification, to make sure it’s not Oluwole then inform you that you qualify for road test in about 2-3 weeks.
Go to an alberta.ca or a registry near u to find out more.

You can go ahead. I evaluated my post graduate diploma from ABU DLC with WES and it came out as a Canadian equivalent of one year post graduate diploma.

I have some questions,

1.Here are 2 profiles(Couples)

Male;
Veterinary Doctor
4 years experience
Above 30years

Female;
Medical Doctor
Fresh out of School
29years

Who amongst the two has a better chance in the express entry pool?

2.Which ECA evaluates Veterinary medicine degree?

3.Can they apply separately as Main Applicants? In other words, can each of them open separate profiles and apply as Main applicants?
