Binance has no effect on the exchange rate market and prices. Binance is a P2P platform. People go on it and sell or buy crypto at their own prices, Binance only serves as a platform and escrow for traders and buyers.

It’s people like you and me that go ahead to list prices based on what they get from Aboki. If Aboki sells dollars for 1700, do you expect me to sell at 500?

Customs peg clearing fees at black market rates. Why can’t customs sell at 500/$. Why did CBN sell at over 1000/$?
I said you don't have exact details about what happened.

Ridiculous orders was placed on Binance which required huge amount of dollars. They are deliberate cancelled order just to acquire large amount of dollars which they are going to sell to other countries and make big profits from it

Is this why the FG want bribe? A competent and honest government will stick to its guns with facts and see this through the courts. But no, the FG keeps shifting post. First they said his health was fine, yet they released him on health grounds, doesn’t that tell your empty brain something?
Provide evidence of FG requesting bribe from him

Since FG acted on Binance dollar manipulating in Nigeria, Naira has been gaining strength.

Is it only Nigeria Binance was banned or have issue with the government country?

Why should we be using crypto rate as dollar rate in Nigeria?

Annoyingly, those who have no idea about the extent of Binance manipulation would come on this thread to defend him. Annoyingly
Whatever he said is not wrong about the Nigeria government. It is something they can do which means the government did it.

If binance was truly manipulating the dollars in Nigeria as you said, then why wasn’t he charged to court and sentenced if there was evidence instead of keeping him in a place for years?

The allegations against Binance in Nigeria, is it only in Nigeria Binance ever had such experience?

Indeed it's pointless to argue with evil. Our government is full of evil men and men of the underworld. Little wonder they have ran the country aground for years now.

The ones in other countries were tried and jailed, some were given 10 years for fraudulently manipulating the dollar and killing their currencies. Nigeria government kidnapped the Binance executives and kept them for long and one of them managed to escape after bribing his way out.

The question should be asked, do those lawmakers have bitcoin wallets? If they do, how did the guy know they have? But when you steal with those in authority, you have little to worry about.

Is it not shameful that a tiny company is frustrating the naira yet you say tinubu is on top of his game. Nothing is going on in Nigeria that is why Binance is being blamed to cover up their incompetence.

You can be excused, every community has her own clown and misfits!
When the people gather, they will be there to make up the number.
They care less about their nuisance value cos they don't know.
The people that worry so much are the immediate kiths and kins.
They summary is this;
Seven days are the days of mourning for the dead, but a fool is mourned all days of his life.
That's your pitiable state!

Modified: It's important for Nigerians to have a clue about the basis of Binance trouble in Nigeria.

So Binance and some crooks in Nigeria, colluded together to be placing fake order on Binance which will required dollars settlement. The crooks would use the receipt of the placed order to exchange naira to dollar at a very discounted price as the amount is huge.

Eventually, the orders are not existing, the demanded dollars are meant to be laundered outside Nigeria most especially other African countries and sell at high price.

It got to the extent that there was too much demand on dollar which made the suspicion.

Now , how many years have Binance been manipulating naira-dollar rate in Nigeria? That some people said Binance left a year ago while the dollar is still around N1500. So you expect years of manipulating to be vanished within a year?
How come no improvement with exchange rate since then. It had only grown worse.

Meaning that Binance was just a scapegoat for incompetency

Thanks so much. Some of them have deluded brain and can't engage in meaningful discussions. Most of the comments here are based on emotions and their hate for Tinubu. I always avoid rushing to comment on issues especially if I'm not privy to substantial information to defend myself. If this man has any record of evidence to substantiate his claims that Nigerian officials demand for bribe, let him bring it out so we can drag those officials. I don't always like social media accusations without good evidence. Let him sue the officials in court for demanding for bribe and stop this social media blabbing.

Bro the thing is, is Nigeria the first country Binance would be accused of manipulating their local currency? If the answer is No, can all of those countries be wrong Including Nigeria.

This same Binance have been sacked I. Different countries for same offence, but the defenders from hell are defending him because they hate this government

They were jailed for failing to put in place an anti-money laundering program that would have identified and stopped dirty money transactions such as the financing of terrorism and illicit drug sales. Manipulating the dollar as how?

The dollar laundered won't longer be in Nigeria circulation hence low supply. That's manipulating of currency

binance is an app, your government senseless management of the economy led the naira to the grave it is in right now, not binance ,not crypto , not anything else, and rather than admit or take logical steps to salvage the situation they do what they do best, create a smokescreen and look for who to blame, they did not only get that with this executive but shamelessly as always went ahead to unlawfully detain him and extort him... any one that stands behind such government is nothing different from them and an enemy to the people, and i promise you the day of reckoning for all these pigs that have been wrecking this country is close and unexpected.

They were not jailed, they were invited and seized. Are you saying the one that escaped, escaped from Nigerian prison? There was no evidence to jail any of them. Nigerian government was only acting on suspicion thereby exploiting them.

You were the one who typed the manipulated the dollar in Nigeria.
