With all due respect to Nnamdi Kanu's late parents as they are also our parents as well, I strongly want to state that this is the fall out of the methods he undertook to fight for the struggle over unfairness. It was very wrong of him to have adopted methods like insulting other ethnic nationalities that could have ignited a fratricidal war which would have plunged all of us into a needless war over issues that before we were born were settled. I am pained that they died which was partly influenced by the military invasion but what was he expecting? The Nigerian would just fold its arms and pretend inciting words that could plunge the country in chaos to be left unchecked? There would certainly be repercussions which are being felt up to today unfortunately. This is a lesson that there is no gain in violence but peaceful means of effecting change like late mahatma Ghandi would show us.
