Learning Tiling At The Age Of 29, I Need Advice Please. by ThMysteriousMan(op): 3:50pm On Feb 14, 2025
Hello, everyone. If confusion were a person, it would be me. I kindly need your assistance. I will be turning 29 in April, and I feel like I have nothing to show for it—no certificate, no business idea, no skills; I'm just making it through each day. Everything I try seems to fall through, but I'm committed to not giving up.

I'm considering learning tiling, but I'm feeling anxious about my age and when I'll be able to finish and master it. I'm also feeling confused and frustrated. Currently, it's my mum who is supporting me, and I really want to be able to help myself.

Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On Kpiiii my bended prick, the very first of its name, I can swear that,

This realization is all you need. It fires the drive to succeed. That thought of timing is a distracting one, pay no mind to distractions.

My advise is that you go for an area that does not go out of fashion, and provide subsequent maintenance opportunities.

There's never an age barrier to learning what you need to learn to turn your life around.

It's not how many years more you need to Master it, the question is how committed can you be to learning the skill so that you can be good enough to be collecting small jobs to help yourself a little, pending when you can be strong enough to start tackling person contracts.

Whatever you decide to learn or not, two years from now, you'll still be 31.

The best time to start was 9 years ago, the next best time is today.

What have you been doing all these years? Tiling takes about six to eight months to learn. Watch what the others do and take calculated risks. If you sit back and wait to eventually learn the skill, it will not come. Your co-workers will not allow you learn it because they feel you’ll take their place. Befriend one of them and ask him to teach you out of work hours.

I've done a lot of things in the past years and it didn't materialize maybe because I'm always in a haste.

Please can you explain what you mean very well 🙏

Let this haste you speak of not let you learn the job haphazardly and run away, believing you’ve arrived. Nigerians mostly learn the basics of a skill and never improve themselves further, setting themselves up for failure in the future.

Please can you explain what you mean very well 🙏
What else again do you want to hear that hasn’t been typed in the response?
