Former Bayelsa East Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has accused Binance’s Head of Financial Crime Compliance, Tigran Gambaryan, of lying against Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, and some senators by alleging that they demanded a bribe of $150 million.

Murray-Bruce challenged Gambaryan to undergo a lie detector test over his $150 million bribery allegation.

Gambaryan had accused the NSA of demanding a bribe to fund his political ambition.

Posting on X, Gambaryan also accused some members of the House of Representatives of demanding a $150 million bribe from him during a meeting in Abuja.

However, the Nigerian government dismissed Gambaryan’s allegations, describing them as defamatory.

Murray-Bruce, in response, accused Gambaryan of lying.

Posting on X, Murray-Bruce wrote: “I have known Mallam Nuhu Ribadu my entire life, and I can say with absolute certainty that he is incapable of the allegations being levelled against him.

“I challenge @TigranGambaryan to undergo a lie detector test if he genuinely believes the claims he has made.

“It is exhausting to witness individuals repeatedly dragging Nigeria’s name through the mud with baseless accusations and fabricated evidence.

“@TigranGambaryan should consider himself fortunate to have been allowed to leave because if Nuhu had his way, I am supremely confident he would have ensured that he remained behind bars for a hundred years.

“I swear on my life—Girma is lying, and I demand that @TigranGambaryan submit to a lie detector test in a neutral country, excluding both the United States and Nigeria.

“Furthermore, I hope @TigranGambaryan begins drafting the public apology he will inevitably have to issue once he fails that test.

Individuals like him must be decisively dealt with, ensuring that such reckless fabrications are not only exposed but also serve as a warning to other deceitful actors who seek to undermine Nigeria.”

Mr Bruce is a sore embarrassment. Someone of his level of exposure knows that lie detector tests have long been panned and widely regarded as inaccurate. No court of law will admit the findings of a lie detector into record. Bruce knows this. He is just trying to pull wool over the eyes of Nigerians.

Can’t understand why Ben Bruce is playing “Reno O’mockery” on top this matter.

At his age and knowledge of Nigerian public office holders and politicians; he should know that the balance of truth weighs heavily in favor of Tigran. They forget that they’re dealing with a US citizen and that if the matter is going to court, it’ll not be in Nigeria where justice is for sale but in US where they’ll be strip naked in court.

The Binance guy might actually be saying the truth but has no evidence to back it up. Does that invalidate his personal experience?

You can have a genuine case and still lose in court because the judge is not convinced enough.

As a human being, never claim to know someone 100% by saying he/she cannot do what he/she is accused of . You only know yourself, and even you yourself cannot vouch for yourself until you are in certain positions of power and authority.

The Nigerian system has no room for accountability, so even your saints can do all sorts and get away with it and come out to portray a different personality.

What ever that foreigner said about Ribadu is the absolute truth, nothing Nigerian politicians no fit do for this Nigeria, the unlawfully arrested the man and demanded user data from him, after labeling him and binance as being responsible for the decline in naira, by now you would have taught naira Gaines value since then, but it got worse.

This shows you tinubu and his clueless team messed the naira up and was looking for a scape goat, they are not ready to take blames for plunging naira this deep into the abyss, they even blamed Buhari and acted like they were not part and parcel of the Buhari maladministration, after they had initially blamed GEJ for good seven years.

Make no mistake, na yoruba miscalculation destroyed this country, forming political woke and experts, wanting to teach political lessons, I think the lessons have been learnt so far by all and sundry😂😂

If had stopped his lies at the doorstep of senators, (which we all know they are corrupt) we would have been looking away, but bringing incorruptible nuhu ribadu into this despite being the one to get his foolish ass arrested shows he he in on revenge mission and ribadu was right to arrest that fool.
