50% tariff hike for telecommunications companies by NCC .Programmers in Nigeria are likely feeling the pinch of the recent tariff hikes by MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile. With data, call and SMS prices increasing by up to 50%, many programmers may struggle to afford the internet and communication services they need to work effectively.


To take common garri is no longer N500 now N800. Maybe we have to japa to Europe,Canada or the UK since it is our contingency plan. I don't advice people who can't do 2 to 3jobs to japa because that can tell on your mental health.

The real issue is exportability

If programmers focused on only the Nigerian market and can't work Beyond the low class Nigerian thing
They will go hungry continuously

But those working outside from Nigeria do not know this

A wordpress developer shouldn't earn less than 700 USD a month if he I knows his salt

Nothing like buying a 4 million naira laptop when all u have it 6M (except you've just signed new contract thats worth about 5M) ...

Until you're sure of another source that commensurate with your spending, don't blow that money o!

Bros internet here in chile is available everywhere. It’s not something anybody thinks of at all. Unlimited internet with cable is around 20000 naira a month. Internet is also everywhere. In public buses, libraries, malls. Like I don’t even think about that at all. It’s always available and super fast.

I have a thing against night browsing now cos of how it disrupts my sleeping pattern!!!

Why should i stay awake cos i wan use free internet? I don pass that level jare .... I did that for some years ... cos i wan download 5gb file ..

Now, i download 24gb files easily ...

I prefer being able to use my internet whenever i want to and not being constraint to night ....

How much the spectranet monthly and whats the data amount that comes with it?

I no dey carry browse anyhow again. Na wetin go give me money directly or indirectly I focus on now with once in a while entertainment
