A situation where those in support of the government are as idiotic as the government itself! grin

Otherwise, they should have known that Nigerians need no one to tell them that the economy is flourishing or doing well when they are on the receiving side and are feeling the positive or negative effects of the government policies!

can you give the previous prices and the new prices?

is Tinubu responsible for the reduction you are referring to?

who is responsible for the price increase in the first place?

Oga, inflation is calculated by comparing the price with what it was same month last year. Which foodstuff is cheaper than it was in February last year?
The answer is none.

Typing:
During this period every year, prices of foodstuffs is usually lower. The reason is because, most farmers just finished harvesting their farm produce. They have also flood the markets with varieties of farm produce.

This always force the prices down drastically. However, in lass than two months from now, the prices will go high.

I am a farmer and I have full knowledge of this and how it works. Tinubu's bad policies can never force the price of farm produce down.

Do you know how much farmers bought fertilizer last year? Do you know how much farmers bought seedlings, herbicide chemicals for weeds and other farm implements? The same farmers spend huge money on buying fuel at over 1k per litter. To transport themselves to farm daily

With all the above, challenges farmers go through under this administration, how do you think price of food stuffs will come down? From the middle of this year. Prices of food stuffs will be higher than it were at the same period last year.
my brother this people don't rate us, they lie to us shamelessly because they think we can't do anything
Anybody with a modicum of intelligence will know that this kind of policies will continue to reck havoc unless it is tamed
As for bwala that one lie for a living and their is no shame In him so far it will yield money

which of the useless policies is reducing anything?

All we’ve been hearing and seeing is increase in this and that.

Is it because people are tired of complaining and have somehow resigned to fate?

Both the bwala and the policies and people making the policies are not well upstairs, including all supporters of the agbado regime

No one should be alarmed by the false statistics coming from Boa-la, sorry, Bwala because that's why he was "recruited" in the first place.

One would be surprised if any member of the so-called opposition is given an appointment right now if his /her tone and tune wouldn't change as well.

It's part of the amazing game called "politics".

It's bad table manners to talk while eating.

Bwala has been called to "come and chop", so he has become thoroughly compromised and now part of the ugly system.

This is the most useless fact-check. You that is reading the post, has food price gone down ?
Re: FACTCHECK: Are Tinubu’s Policies Reducing Food Inflation As Daniel Bwala Claimed by lordprogress: 3:54pm On Feb 16, 2025
ElevationD:
With the cost of yam seedlings and cassava stem in the last two months, we expect yams to be costlier this year than the years before. We also expect cassava and it’s by products to be very expensive. Look at vegetables in the market presently and you’ll wonder what’s going on. A bunch of vegetables that you could before Tinubu get for 50 naira presently sells for 500 naira. The market women tell you that there’s none for 200. For the first time this year, we should expect yams to go for as far as 10k.

Government’s efforts are not noticed in the area of seedlings, so how can they claim that food prices are down? Infact by April-May, prices will hit the roof.

What about poultry/beef and fish? What is there to talk about when we all see the obvious in the markets?
You are very correct sir, I went to the market to buy pumpkin leaves(our brothers from the east call it ugu) and I was surprised when they told me I can't get any for 200 naira that the price starts from 5h.

Na so
Anything Daily Trust is fakery of the North.Who de reasedam self!
But the elements of Truth is that:
-President -Tinubu refusals to Import Foodstuffs is causing a lot of Unnecessary Inflation, especially on Foodstuffs,in Nigeria- from Garri,Rice,Beans, Groundnuts Oil,Yam,etc.
•Simple Solutions:
is Import Foodstuffs to reduce Inflation and Force those hoarding them Out of the Markets!
-Or why our Our leaders able to Spend More on Election Champaign - when many Nigerians are not having enough to eat?
•Our Leaders Should be Proactive and Show More Emphathy -to the People, that elected them- because that is why they are there in the first place
-Why is it always difficult to Imports what is missing Or Grossly Not Enough, than Claiming its difficult in the Country Balance Sheet?
- Apart from the Fact that there are Insecurities - especially in some States,in the North, they too(Northerners ,with Few Exceptions) are fueling this Insecurity by being the footsoldiers of Terrorists, Kidnappers, Criminals in some Borders in Nigeria!
Kiss the TRUTH.

The Fact Check totally lost it this time around, I think the greatest lies is the one we tell ourselves.

There's no need writing long tiring essays to prove what isn't obtainable on the street, a simple walk through the major and probably minor markets scattered across Nigeria would've save the Fact Check ink.

Unrealistic essayist.
