Nigerians can get frustrated over little things now. I was at a supermarket to buy something the other day and a woman was shouting at a man for cutting the line. From shouting at the man, she started crying that this is how the rich oppressed the poor in the country and that it was not good. I was confused and lost at the same time. Hardship no go aswear.

What's the big deal about being the best man? When my closest friend married before me, I was in his train but I wasn't his best man. Another good friend of his was his best man and I didn't think anything of it. I proposed a toast for him though. We are still best friends till date.

It was actually to his best interest to have someone else as his best man so that I (his most trusted friend) can be free to oversee things and ensure the event went well especially during the reception and indeed I was able to cover some serious lapses that would have ruined his day.
