Which among the two options do you prefer? Would you prefer my presence in your wedding or I send you my financial support. I am from kogi state but with a permanent residence in Nasarawa state, I have a cousin whose wedding is coming soon in ugheli in delta State, he invited me specially to be with him on his special day (not his best man but one of his favourite cousins) to celebrate and rejoice with him, but I'm not really comfortable travelling from lafia Nasarawa state capital to ugheli in delta State to attend a wedding for the following reasons... Firstly, the stress of travelling the distance of over 550km Secondly, transportation to and fro, sewing of agbada with other things is going to cost me around 180k to 220k. The above reasons are why im asking... If you are the celebrant would prefer I send you 100k as my financial support or be in attendance. Please, I need your opinions on this because i don't want to too selfish in my decision. |

Thinkfree:Omo, send money and attend the wedding from his/her WhatsApp status. That location far, and with all the happenings on Naija roads lately. Life is so simple, but people make it complicated. Peace! ✌️ |

Zooboy:Attending the wedding is a burden to both you and the attendee while sending money is a blessing to you and stress/burden reliever for the supposed attendee. |

My cousin brother did his wedding August last year. I traveled from Lagos to Enugu. The Journey and other things cost me close to 200k. If I had known I would have sent him 100k and save myself from the risk, stress and other unforseen expenses. My dear send him your T- fare ( to and fro) which should be close to 100k He will appreciate it more. But come up with a good lie/ excuse why you will not be able to attend. |
